This tide will coincide with tidal surge and moderate to large offshore waves. Winds are forecast to be force 7 from a south-south-west direction. Water levels are forecast to run up to the top of the slipway and therefore the flood gates on the slipway should be installed to minimise any impacts of flooding. Although the conditions only indicate a marginal breach of the flood warning thresholds, water may still overtop the sea wall near this location and could pool on the road near properties; residents in seafront properties should monitor the situation and take steps to protect themselves as necessary.

Water levels are forecast to run up to the top of the pebble bank; this gives a high risk that water could overtop the bank. It is possible that debris, such as pebbles, could be moved onto the road disrupting traffic. Water could also accumulate on the road, around properties and on low lying land in the area. Although conditions are set to improve by the high tide on Tuesday evening, if there is significant change in the forecast, or any alteration to the pebble bank this message will be updated, and the flood warning will remain in force for both tides.

This tide will coincide with tidal surge and moderate to large offshore waves. Winds are forecast to be force 7 from a south-south-west direction. Although the conditions only indicate a marginal breach of the flood warning thresholds, chalets closest to these defences could be affected.
